Room 7's mihi
As part of our topic this term we have spent the last few weeks working on our mihi. A mihi is a way to introduce ourselves in te reo Maori. The children all did a great job. We finish our mihi by saying tēnā koutou, tēnā koutou tēnā koutou, katoa, this means thank you for listening.

100 days of school - day 44
Here's an update on our paper chain, every day at school we add a link.
The children love to measure the chain.
Today we thought we would measure it against some of our playground equipment...and ourselves!
Our chain now stands taller than all of us...even Mrs O'Leary! |
It is about half way up the slide |
We wonder how long it will be on day 100? |
