Wow! You are 100 days smarter!
Today we celebrated our 100th day at school.
As you know, one of the things we have done since the beginning of the year is add a link to a paper chain each day. We have measured it throughout the year to date and have wondered how long it would be on day 100. Today we finally got to see! Check it out!

100 days of school celebration
Kiwi and Tui syndicates have been counting our days at school since the beginning of the year. On the first Thursday of Term 3 (July 24th) we will be celebrating our 100th day at school.
This day will be full of '100 day' activities and sharing.
We ask that over the holidays you gather together an example of 100 somethings...
In class we have talked about collections of 100 stickers, sea shells, toy animals, lego pieces, painting 100 dots onto a T-shirt, dressing-up as a 100 year old...the ideas are endless!
We are also asking each child to bring in a can of food, we are aiming for 100 cans (of course) which we will then donate to the local food bank.
You are welcome to join us at school on Thursday 24th of July at 2:30pm
for some special activities.

PFG dress-up day
The last day of term was a dress-up day, the theme was RED.
What a great effort from the whole school.
In the afternoon Room 7 ended the term with a RED themed discovery time.
