Today Kiwi and Tui syndicates celebrated 100 days of school.
All year we have been counting the days, using this as valuable maths learning.
Today children bought in their collections of 100 'things' to share with the class. What imaginative ideas!
Everyday at school we add a link to a paper chain, today we spent time measuring our 100 days chain.
After morning tea the children were split across the syndicate getting stuck-in to some exciting 100 days activities.
Check out the photos below.

Our chain is shorter than the rocket ship |

It is longer than the pole |
|
It is almost twice as long as the orange slide |
|
It is longer than the monkey bars |
|
Would you believe it? It is the same length as the steps! |
|
We had to work together to carry it very carefully around the school | | | | | | | | | | | | |

If children were in Room 7 they had to imagine what they would look like when they were 100 years old...
What a great day!
